He said, “Millions of passengers rely on various modes, including public transport fleets, airplanes, trains, and personal vehicles, for their Arbaeen Hosseini journey to Iraq and the holy city of Mashhad towards the end of Safar. Given the services offered, all those involved in last month’s travels deserve recognition and gratitude.”
Citing Fars, as relayed by TIN News, the Vice Chairman emphasized the positive feedback received on the province’s travel experience during Safar’s concluding travels. He added, “The passenger traffic reports, accommodation arrangements, and socio-cultural experiences in Holy Mashhad have garnered positive feedback, and the collaboration of all stakeholders with the provincial governorate has been commendable.”
Azari commented on the performance across various transportation sectors, “The road infrastructure seems to cater more efficiently to the pilgrim traffic compared to other modes.”
He added a pressing concern, “The aging and diminishing of air and rail fleets, along with the dire need for their refurbishment, should top the priority list. In this regard, the 13th government is committed to taking additional measures.”
