Eslami “The Share of Iranian Airlines in the Regional Market Should Increase “

Tehran – IRNA – The Minister of Roads and Urban Development, stating that a new opportunity has been created for the development of the air fleet, said: the share of Iranian airlines in the regional market should increase.

According to an IRNA report from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development on Thursday, “Mohammad Eslami” said in a meeting with managers of the aviation industry: “Different parts of the world were affected by the corona, one of which is aviation and in the country We also experienced different conditions in this sector, but the activity of this industry did never stop.

Pointing to the need for the aviation industry to be ready for a new situation, he said: “We need a change and leap in the aviation industry and a big step must be taken to make the most of this opportunity for the country and to develop and equip it.

He added: “The opportunity for change has come and the airlines should take steps to develop the country by forming a united group, consortium and Financial integration and financing using finance.”

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized: “There are still people in this aviation industry who do not believe in making domestic parts, and this sector has even sometimes depended on abroad repairs, and this backwardness should not continue any longer.”

He said that today a new capacity has been created for the development of the country’s air fleet, he said: “If this capacity is not placed on a proper and revolutionary rail, these new opportunities will be lost and the country will remain dependent.”

He added: “We must go in a clear line that aims at proper management and increasing productivity and development of companies, of course, we also consider special measures and try to use national resources to help airlines this year as well.”

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development stated: In 1400, we must experience the development, improvement, and expansion of the fleet of airlines and development in market share, and the National Aviation Organization and the Iranian Airports and Air Navigation Company can reciprocally apply some policies. Facilitate the conditions for increasing the share of Iranian airlines in the regional market.

Referring to the importance of airlines looking at the regional market, he said: “Iran used to go to distant places to cooperate and pay less attention to its neighbors, but the neighbors are a good opportunity for both the aviation industry and other sectors.”

Eslami emphasized: “Airlines can set up several flight hubs with the participation of each other and the support of the aviation organization in neighbor countries, and we in the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development have made arrangements with the ministers of these countries and will have more talks. In order to be able to participate in a market of 500 million people by using the fifth connections and freedoms in some of these countries. ”

“This is a new market, a new opportunity that brings a combination of domestic and international flights to bring economic prosperity to airlines,” said the Minister of Roads and Urban Development.

Referring to some obstacles to the development of airlines, he noted: “Problems related to municipal tolls should be resolved in parliament through legal action to remove these obstacles on the way of airlines.”

Addressing the airlines, Eslami said: “Think about improving and modernizing the manpower. There are talented young people in the country and we must create hope for them.” These talents must be absorbed in the flight sector, airport services, maintenance, and technology.
