The spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Organization announced the successful establishment of their first Operation Management and Control Center (OCC) in Nowruz 1402. Due to the surge in flights during Arbaeen, the center began operating 24/7.
Jafar Yazerlo, the spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Organization, explained that the OCC’s establishment aims to provide airlines with swift and real-time access to organization managers. It also promotes collaborative efforts among airlines, timely decision-making, and a quick response to flight delays. Given the Civil Aviation Organization’s governance position and the ability to access its head for crucial decisions and urgent permits, the center has become operational.
The spokesperson emphasized that today marks the OCC’s third day of operation for Arbaeen 1402. Authorized representatives from participating airlines and those from handling service providers, airports, and refueling work closely with senior managers from the Civil Aviation Organization. Together, they continuously monitor Arbaeen flights around the clock.
Yazerlo further mentioned that on the 15th day of Arbaeen operations, airline representatives, handling service providers, airports, and refueling services, will oversee information processing and monitor Arbaeen flights across 23 airport locations nationwide.
