The newly opened passenger terminal at Kish International Airport, renowned as the most modern and mechanized Iran, marked a significant milestone by issuing the first automatic boarding pass to Mehrdad Bazarpash, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development.
As the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development reported, the event celebrated the launch of the state-of-the-art terminal at Kish International Airport. This terminal, boasting an infrastructure spanning 49,000 square meters, is equipped to handle up to 6 million passengers annually.
Highlighting Iran’s domestic capabilities, the construction of Kish Airport’s modern terminal was undertaken by the nation’s experts and knowledge-based companies. Their contribution has significantly enhanced Iran’s standing in the international aviation sector by delivering one of the country’s most advanced and mechanized airports.
