April 12, 2021The CEO of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company said: Nowruz 1400, a total of 17 thousand and 141 flights have been performed in the country, which shows a 94% increase compared to Nowruz 1399.
Siavash Amir Makri announced the doubling of the gates passing through the sky of Iran during Nowruz and said: Nowruz 1399, a total of 8822 flights were performed in the sky of the country.
He continued: out of 17 thousand and 141 flights performed in the sky of our country during Nowruz, 1400, 8822 were domestic flights, 6616 transit flights, 1422 international flights and 281 flights were included other flights.
The CEO of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company added: Nowruz 1400 compared to Nowruz 1399 with a 202% increase in domestic flights, a 21% increase in transit flights, a 316% increase in international flights and a 165% increase in other flights and a 94% increase in total flights.
He emphasized: The mentioned statistics have been calculated based on period of 1400 new year holiday.
