Permission has been granted for constructing a new airport, and the administrative council of the province has made the necessary decisions regarding land, loading methods, financing, and construction methods.
A few days ago, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development in Qom stated that the construction of the Qom airport was a request from the people and a priority for the president. The Qom administrative council made the necessary decisions for the project implementation.
Mehrdad Bazarpash added, “The permit for the construction of Qom airport has already been issued, and the necessary decisions regarding land, loading methods, financing, and construction methods will be made during the administrative council meeting of the province.”
A specialized real estate and documents resource channel commented, “There are numerous half-finished projects that were reportedly started with political motives but remained incomplete due to budget deficits. A significant amount of capital is tied up in these half-finished projects. Shouldn’t we learn from the past?”
A fundamental question arising from this decision is whether it is necessary to spend public funds on constructing an airport near an existing one. Is it better to allocate the treasury funds to address the country’s priority issues?
