A spokesman for the National Aviation Organization announced the suspension of recreational training operations for ultralight aircraft until further notice.
Mohammad Hassan Zibakhsh stated: Due to the occurrence of recent accidents and in order to prevent possible unidentified dangers, all recreational educational operations in the field of ultralight aircraft will be banned until further notice.
He added: “All companies and institutions of ultralight aircraft are obliged to carry out inspections and internal safety audits and send the results to the Civil Aviation Organization as soon as possible along with the safety risk assessment.”
Zibakhsh stated: The license to continue the above operations will be issued after receiving the companies’ analysis and completing the safety assessments of this organization and analyzing the origin causes of the recent accidents.
