The inauguration of Kish International Airport’s new passenger terminal, renowned as the most advanced and mechanized in Iran, was marked by issuing the first automatic flight card to Mehrdad Bazarpash, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development.
As the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development reported, this significant event occurred following the opening of the airport’s new terminal, which sets a benchmark in modernity for the country’s airports. The terminal, with its capacity to accommodate 6 million passengers annually and sprawling over 49,000 square meters, represents a significant stride in aviation infrastructure.
Constructed by Iran’s domestic experts and knowledge-based companies, the new terminal at Kish International Airport showcases Iran’s homegrown expertise and technological capabilities, cementing its status as the country’s most modern airport terminal.
