Flights at Sabzevar Airport are set to resume on November 15, following a 10-month suspension, as announced by the Director General of Khorasan Razavi Airports.
Mahmoud Amani Bani, the Director General of Khorasan Razavi Airports, confirmed the development, crediting the resumption to persistent efforts by provincial authorities, the Civil Aviation Organization, and the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company. This news was reported by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s news site, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Khorasan Razavi Airports.
As per Ata Airlines’ schedule, the inaugural Tehran-Sabzevar flight is slated for 4:40 p.m., while the return Sabzevar-Tehran flight will depart at 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15.
Sabzevar Martyrs Airport, the sole airport in the West Khorasan Razavi region and a supporting facility for Shahid Hashminejad International Airport in Mashhad, spans an area of 328 hectares and is located eight kilometers southwest of Sabzevar city.
